Images without a persons face it it gets almost 25% more views and pins. Clear and high res photos look professional and will get more pins than a low quality photo.

3. Use photos that fit

Optimize your photos by ensuring you are not only using a 2:3 aspect ratio as your goal. This would be around 1000x1500 which is most optimal. Vertical images stand out more based on Pinterest. If your photo is too big or too small, it could impact your Pin and its performance.

To grow, you'll need to stay consistent and post regularly and at the right times of the day. Weekends are the best when it comes to posting a pin on Pinterest. Hubspot research says Saturdays and in the morning is the best time to post. On average, the best times to post is 2pm-4pm and 8pm-1am (this is EST time). Schedule your pins ahead of time! 5. Pin frequently

Must not pin all at once and be spread about through out the day (with the pins that are most important and that lead to your website at the best times mentioned above). These pins are a mix of pinning other peoples content as well as adding your own content as well.

Just like you would reply to messages on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.. same thing goes with Pinterest. Reply to their comments and treat them like someone you already know.
